Mumbai: Consumer court convicted SBI for lack of services

Mumbai: A District Consumer Forum in Mumbai has considered SBI guilty of a reduction in services in one case. This case is related to cutting money from the customer's account despite not having the money from the ATM. The forum has given the account holder a compensation of 3000 rupees. With the Consumer Forum of Akola district, SBI has also asked SBI to return the amount of Rs 5000 to the account holder who was wrongly cut from his account.

In addition to that, he should give the account holder Rs 2000 as the expense expenses. Pradeep Shitre filed a complaint about this. According to this, even after not withdrawing money from the ATM, Rs 5,000 was cut from his account. SBI did not send its representative despite the issuance of the notice on which the forum passed a one-sided verdict.
